Ogre's Grove to host cosplayers for Free Comic Book Day

Who did Ogre's Grove call to be guests at Free Comic Book Day, Saturday, May 5? The Eastern Shore Ghostbusters!

The group, started by James and Angela Chamberlain, will be entertaining fans from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cosplayers make their own uniforms and proton packs based on the 1984 movie. The Chamberlains have also transformed a Chevrolet Tahoe into the ECTahOe-1, which features a handmade replica of the roof rack used on the ECTO-1 vehicle.

The Eastern Shore Ghostbusters attend charity drives, birthday parties, parades, conventions and any other community event in need of protection from ghosts.

Free Comic Book Day is an international event where publishers provide special comics at cost to retailers, who in turn give them away for free. Everyone who visits Ogre's Grove during the event will get to choose one free comic book, just for showing up.

Attendees can earn extra comics by coming in costume or by making a purchase. In addition, the comic shop is offering buy one, get one free on all $3 back issues.
