Milton Theatre to host interactive ‘Rocky Horror’ show June 24

June 17, 2017

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” with Live Shadow Cast at the Milton Theatre is starting to become a Delmarva favorite, and it’s back at 9 p.m., Saturday, June 24.

The movie, which has been entertaining audiences for the past four decades, was critically panned on its initial release but is now considered a cultural phenomenon. The story centers on a young couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. The travelers discover the head of the house is Frank N. Furter, a mad scientist who actually is an alien transvestite in the midst of performing maniacal experiments.

Experience the fun and join the excitement with a live shadow cast acting together with the movie’s screening. And this time, the show will be open to interested cast members. Those interested can call 302-684-3038 to find out how to be part of the ensemble that will be performing onstage.

Virgin Kits with Rocky Horror props are available online or at the event. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 student/senior and available online at, by calling 302-684-3038, or at the event.

The Milton Theatre is at 110 Union St. in downtown historic Milton along the Broadkill River.
