Born and raised in Sussex County, Delaware, Carrie is happy to return home after twelve years as a member of the US Field Hockey Team. Carrie proudly represented the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, multiple World Cup tournaments and Pan American games. After retiring as captain of the team in 2012, Carrie has committed her time and energy to Jack Lingo Realtor, forming a dynamic real estate team with her husband, Murray Padgett. Carrie is focused on fulfilling the real estate needs and dreams for our community and beyond. In addition to her time at Jack Lingo, Carrie runs a non-profit to help amateur athletes pursue their athletic goals, serves on the Athlete Advisory Council for the Olympic Committee and the Youth and Education Committee for Ducks Unlimited, and sits on the Board of Directors for US Field Hockey. Carrie is also a volunteer coach for the Cape Henlopen High School Field Hockey team.
Born and raised in the small town of Greenville, South Carolina, Murray feels right at home here in Sussex County. He has jumped right in and has spent numerous hours and days getting the lay of the land. His passion for the outdoors and wildlife initially led Murray to the University of Montana and from there to California where he served as a member of the US Navy. Murray's love for hunting and fishing has taught him to exhibit patience while going after "the big one." That served him well as a realtor in South Carolina where he focused on sales, rentals and agricultural improvements. Murray brings his many skills to the newly formed Lingo-Padgett Real Estate team and to his newly formed marriage to Carrie Lingo.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Shawn has taken to Sussex County with its busy summer season and more relaxed, quiet winters. Shawn’s love for southern Delaware began when his parents bought a place down here 15 years ago while he was attending Rutgers University. Once he was finished with college he moved down to Rehoboth Beach to live the beach life full time. With a passion for history and carpentry, Shawn and his Dad started a home restoration company in Delaware restoring historic homes from Old New Castle to Rehoboth Beach. When his father decided it was time to retire, Shawn jumped at the opportunity to join his wife, Merritt Cooch, as a Realtor on the Carrie Lingo Team with Jack Lingo Realtor. With his knowledge of home construction and love of the area, Shawn works to grow the great community we have in Sussex County and share with others the amazing place that he calls home. In his free time Shawn loves to spend time with his wife, Merritt, and their three lovely dogs. An avid animal lover, he is a very active member of the community, volunteering at the local animal shelter and with local dog rescue organizations. His dream is to open an animal sanctuary here in southern Delaware to provide a loving, safe home to those animals that need it most.
