Hometown Christmas Parade to step off in Rehoboth Beach Dec. 5

December 1, 2017

The Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade, set for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, is being presented by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co. with the support of the City of Rehoboth Beach and the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce. There will be many returning favorites and new entries in this year's exciting parade to be announced by Cape Gazette Publisher Dennis Forney.

Residents, guests, visitors and family home for the holidays can all come together to enjoy the parade, island lights, Christmas tree and, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus himself.

All parade participants and watchers are invited to the Rehoboth Beach Fire Station after the parade for refreshments, awarding of trophies, and visits with Santa Claus (with good children receiving a treat).

When doing holiday shopping, community members are encouraged to support business sponsors. Parade Sponsors include Windsor's Flowers, Hazzard Electric Contractors, Kilwin's Chocolates, Rogers Sign Co., Ryan's Mini Golf, and EGG. Parade Trophy Sponsors are Rehoboth Auto Repair, Jakes Seafood, Louie's Pizza, Beachview Motel, Cilantro Cocina De Mexico, D.F. Quillen & Sons, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Fisher's Popcorn, Funland, Just Comfort Shoes, Nicola Pizza, Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's Real Estate, Rehoboth Beach Homeowners’ Association, Robin Hood Restaurant, Royal Treat Restaurant, Williams Insurance Agency, Casapulla's South, DiFebo's, Gallery 50, Grotto Pizza, Maplewood Dental Associates, Rehoboth Breeze, Shell We Bounce, and Starkey's Treats.
