Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest seeks sponsors for Nov. 24 event

April 14, 2018

The Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest is where community and creativity come together for the purpose of compassionate outreach. The contest gives amateur and professional bakers and chefs a chance to flex their creative muscles while raising money to help neighbors in need.

Funds raised support Christmas Joy! 365, the West Rehoboth Children & Youth Program, Epworth's Good Sam program, and homeless students in the Cape Henlopen School District.

This year’s contest will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Epworth United Methodist Church on Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth, and sponsors are needed. For more information or to become a sponsor, go to or find Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest on Facebook.

Organizers look forward to the Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest becoming a cherished part of local holiday tradition. The blend of creativity and compassionate purpose, mixed with just a smidgen of competition, is sure to appeal to many.
