Sisterly love, the Cape Gazette and beautiful Italy...all the makings for a memorable trip

November 10, 2017

Sisters Jennie Oddy of Millsboro and Dianne Hambly of Lewes recently travelled to Italy for a tour of the gorgeous country. “We visited Rome, Florence, the Isle of Capri, Cinque Terre, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Lake Maggiore, Verona and Venice,” said Dianne. “Besides seeing more beautiful sights than we have ever seen and learning in depth the history of the country; we had great fun and made unforgettable memories. This photo was taken in the Boscolo Venezia Hotel in Bauer Palladio, Venice, the last hotel of our trip and boy did we leave with stories to tell about it!! A bit spooky, but very interesting as well, take notice to the huge Murano chandelier above us. Venice is where Murano glass is made. This was a trip of a lifetime, so glad the Cape Gazette could come along!”
